New media company, MidasIndex, launch a beacon of hope for indie-creators seeking media coverage

Sacramento, CA – July 12, 2022 – With the rise of small-scale businesses and independent creators, standing out from the crowd has become increasingly difficult. While many new start-ups have social media accounts and try to get the word out by building a strong online audience, finding a larger audience through traditional press coverage is usually reserved for those with deep pockets or venture capital backing. Now, a new media company, MidasIndex, is looking to even the playing field so that independent creators and bootstrappers have the same kind of access to press coverage.

MidasIndex is an online newsroom in which small-scale entrepreneurs can share their press releases, media statements, articles, and opinion pieces with a wider audience. MidasIndex currently specializes in news coverage for the indie-hacker community. Plans are underway to expand the service to provide coverage for independent musicians, artists, game developers, and other creatives.
